Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

At New Life, our Missions Team follows the Acts 1:8 model for missions working locally, nationally, and internationally. 

LOCAL:

· We participate with the Austin Baptist Association to support church planting efforts in the immediate area

· We have partnered with local churches to clean up local parks

· We have served food in local soup kitchens

· We have served our teachers by serving them as they prepare for the school year

NATIONAL:

· We are participating in national church planting by giving to the
Southern Baptist Convention

· We participated in supporting Bastrop residents who were victims of the fires that devestated the city 

INTERNATIONAL:

·  We have worked with the Libraries of Love to provide Bibles to pastors in Masai Land in Africa

· We participated in helping build an orphanage in Guatemala

· We have worked in Uganda to do medical missions, training local pastors & leaders on how to study the Bible, and teaching new believers how to walk in their new life in Christ 

We believe that missions are not something we do, it is who we are!

The "IGNITE" student ministry is committed to reaching all students with the gospel through christian relationships, education, outreach events, and round table discussion that lead to a developing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Children are on a constant journey of discovery as they interact with the world around them. At New Life, we want to help them discover the love of Christ and how He changes their lives.

“Discoverland” Children’s Ministry provides a safe environment where your children will enjoy great Bible lessons through dramas, songs, and activities while experiencing loving relationships as they grow in the Lord.
